My Background
When I was in grade school, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went to Miami University to study graphic design and painting. I love to share my experiences with others when time allows.

My Background
My favorite medium is acrylic paint, although I love colored pencils and mixed media. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. I am also a "seasoned" Graphic Designer, as "it" pays the bills. ;-)

I really enjoy being outdoors in my spare time and many of my paintings are directly influenced by my appreciation of nature. I love recreating landscapes, plants, animals and wildlife in my work.
